I’ve been a proud resident of Burlington for my entire life. I grew up attending Burlington Christian Academy and Aldershot School (Co-Valedictorian, 2015), where I developed a deep love for this community. Friends and neighbours know me as someone who is passionate about giving back. I was honoured to be nominated for Burlington Junior Citizen of the Year in 2013 and 2014.
I went on to study Engineering Science at the University of Toronto, majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Most recently, I completed graduate studies, earning an MBA and a Masters of Global Affairs. I’m also a Chartered Financial Analyst candidate, having successfully passed the Level III exam as of October 2024!
My journey has taken me through industry and government. I have designed integrated circuit components at Microchip FPGA Corporation in San Jose, California. I’ve worked with the federal government as an Aerospace and Marine Policy Analyst. In addition, I served as the director of Beyond the Headlines, a weekly public policy radio program on CIUT89.5 FM.
In my free time, I love staying active through tennis, sailing, designing & throwing boomerangs, and I enjoy developing software applications to help improve the productivity of my friends and colleagues. I’m also an avid reader, particularly of Canadian, American and European history novels.
